Hytasu Corporation was founded with a vision to enhance the value of farmers' produce by providing end-to-end solutions in the field of hi-tech horticulture and floriculture, by a team of passionate and enthusiastic technocrats. From supplying nursery plants in 2001, the company has consolidated its business with irrigation systems, post-harvest handling, seed driers, and poly house fabrication.

Prior to founding the company, N Rama Krishna was associated with business development for Van De Glind BV of Holland, marketing environment control systems to growers, poultry, and dairy farmers across Europe. Through that experience he built expertise in fine fogging systems, pioneering the approach on farms across India in technical collaboration with Lu Shoyang of Taiwan, and in greenhouse technology in collaboration with Ulma Agricola S.Coop. of Spain.

Hytasu has established itself as a specialist in project conceptualization through commissioning of controlled-environment structures — from low-cost to advanced greenhouses, glass houses, poly houses, and shade houses, alongside irrigation systems and tray-cart systems for the cultivation of flowers, vegetables, and forest nursery plants — executing projects at national and international level.

Hytasu's engineering draws on international sourcing and technical partnerships: greenhouse-technology collaboration with Ulma Agricola S.Coop. of Spain, planting-material sourcing from Barberet & Blanc of Spain (carnation cuttings) and terra nigra of the Netherlands (gerbera cuttings), irrigation-control and misting equipment sourced from Israel, and German-manufactured climate-control components. The company has executed more than 2,000 hectares of greenhouses across India and abroad, meets Indian Standards IS 14462:1997, IS 14485:1998, and IS 15827:2009 for greenhouse construction and cladding, and is the sole Indian producer of horticulture growing troughs and the first company in India to introduce tray-cart nursery systems.
